The 8th Head of the Beast

This is a pretty thorough deep study post with proofs and attempted proofs on the greater of the two beasts described in the Book of Revelation, the one that has 7 heads like the dragon. I had to write out the proofs and basic explanations first, before getting to the men in focus, because popular views are based on some big misunderstandings.

This is not the post to discuss Trump _{^{https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lDRBfWSKzRY,}} Jared Kushner, Mohammad bin Salman, Baron Trump or Barack Obama, etc… although they’re all candidates they could also be decoys.

13.0 See the Glory of God, Beyond the Veil

The Book of Revelation names the return of the 7th head ‘The 8th Head’. The beast’s 7th head, the most terrible head is the one that gets mortally wounded but is later revived to the amazement of the world. It has the same spirit that all the others had, the spirit of Babylon. But it becomes even more terrible than the other six and even more terrible that its own first head was, to the point of finally even shucking off Babylon the Great, the ultimate form of the great whore who has always ridden him. Revelation also refers to the 8th head by itself as ‘the Beast’ because it drives the ultimate form of it. For that reason we sometimes see a pictures of the Beast with only one head. Most artist’s renditions have errors in them:

The image below is flawed because the little horn with a big mouth and eyes like a man doesn’t actually arise until after the 7th head has received a seemingly fatal head wound. After that, the little horn arises and grows to become the 8th head.

The Beast, when shown with only one head shouldn’t have ten crowned horns, because the revival of the 7th head as the 8th head isn’t complete until the 11th horn, the little-big horn, has uprooted three of the ten horns. ~2-3 years later, the remaining 7 horns will have vanished when 10 ‘crown-less’ horns rise up and give their power to the 8th head of the Beast for the purpose of destroying Babylon the Great; The Beast loathes to share the worship he receives from Earth dwellers with the multitude of idols in the industry of her false religion. When Babylon was in focus in St John’s vision, the Beast was described as being scarlet in color when the Great Whore rode him. In those exact figurative Rev. 17 verses, while she rode him, the Beast was also shown displaying blasphemous words on all his heads, words against the true God who created this universe; And at the same time the Great Whore was drunk on the blood of the saints, while being decked out in scarlet and purple as she was drinking from a golden cup containing every kind of filth of her fornication.

The Beast’s 8th head will grow out of its 7th empire’s (dead head). Its roots and remnants will have first grown into 10 horns and later the little horn comes up. It’s different from all the others. It has the eyes and the mouth of a man and it speaks great things. The little horn’s roots may be darkly spiritual in the sense that he’s someone who satan has been planning for centuries to place there. Three of the original 10 horns are immediately plucked out by it. After that, the little horn becomes the huge horn and only then it will become the 8th head, which will be considered to be the entire Beast, for 42months, although the remaining seven horns will stay on it for awhile.

Four chapters prior to that, when Revelation 13:1 first introduced the beast, the dragon was mentioned but Babylon wasn’t. That passage focused on figuratively revealing to us that the beast had existed throughout the ages; That’s with its 7 heads representing the fact that, over time, 7 empires ruled ‘central Earth.’ Those are the areas that surrounded and have often conquered Jerusalem: 1. Egypt, 2. Assyria, 3. Babylon, 4. Medo-Persia, 5. Greece, 6. Rome, 7. Islam (1_^st and 2_^nd). When artists try to render the beast in this way, the ten horns should not be shown as if they were distributed across all its heads or necks, since all ten of them come only from the 7th kingdom. The purpose of including the ten horns in that time-composite image to St John, was so we could understand that something grew out of the roots of the de-capatated/de-caliphated 7th head even before the 8th head took over.

The British Empire wasn’t one of the 7 heads!

In the time of the British Empire, from the late 16th to the early 20th century, Jerusalem was part of the Islamic Ottoman Empire; In 1917 they lost it to Britain at the Battle of Jerusalem; But it was only under mandate and by that time the British Empire had declined greatly.

The British Empire ruled the ‘four corners of the world’, while the Islamic Caliphate, Ottoman Empire ruled the most significant central areas, most of the territory that the prior 6 heads of the beast had controlled. (not shown here)

The revival of the 7th head of the beast will continue in stages:

Back to St. John’s first vision of the beast (Rev. 13:1): The beast is seen rising out of ‘the sea’ (that means ‘many peoples’). There’s a diadem (royal crown) on each of its ten horns. Although it doesn’t mention where the horns are attached in that passage, that information was given to us in Daniel 7:20: Daniel had a major dream-vision showing him those same ten horns; They were only present at the beginning of the second permutation of the beast’s final empire, and from among them an 11th horn came up uprooting three. It grew so large as to reach heaven. (The 11th horn came to be called the 8th head by the angel in Revelation.) In Daniel 7 an angel interpreted Daniel’s dream vision, telling Daniel that those ten horns are 10 kings; Their crowns weren’t mentioned, but I think we can assume they had crowns, and be quite sure that they’re the very same horns seen by St. John in his Rev. 13:1 vision. ^{_{(explained below)}}

Unfortunately there’s a Rev. 17:7 verse that leads often to confusion, because it describes the other set of ten horns in which no crowns are mentioned. But in that case, the angel specifically stated that those kings had not yet received their power; So it makes sense that they were crown-less. Nevertheless, many believers conflate those horns with the Daniel 7:20/ Rev. 13:3 set of set of ten horns. The way to tell them apart is that the Rev. 17:7 set of 10 horns is specifically described as being used by God, near the very end of the reign of 8th head of the Beast, for the sole purpose of the destruction of Babylon-the-Great; By contrast, the Rev. 13:1 set of ten crowned horns are the foundation for the beginning of the revival of the 7th head of the beast into its overbearing 8th head.

We might ask if in Rev. 17:7 it was just the original 10 horns being shown again, perhaps for memorial purposes, to remind us that the 7th kingdom had two parts? Probably not because Rev. 17: 16-17 says this:

¹⁶ And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. ¹⁷ For God hath put in their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

“The beast who once was, and now is not, is an eighth king. He belongs to the seven and is going to his destruction.“ (Rev. 17)

Since the final permutation of the beast ‘belongs to the seven’ It makes good sense that he’s being shown in a way that represents his seven fold nature.

Specifics of Daniel’s Dream-Vision

From Daniel’s. 7:20 dream vision we learn about the fourth of the four most relevant heads/empires of the 7 headed Beast. In his vision, but each of those empires were shown as separate beasts. As mentioned, Daniel saw 10 horns only on the last one of those. The way Daniel described it, just when it seemed as if no beast could get more horrible, the horribleness of its character multiplied by an order of magnitude! (That was its revival). But before its revival, the little horn in Daniel’s vision was shown to have risen up while tearing out 3 of the horns. What Daniel saw in a time lapsed way, was the 7th head becoming the 8th head. The other 3 empires in Daniel’s vision were the Babylonian, Medo-Persian and Greek; Each of those were represented with full bodies, to demonstrate certain characteristics unique to those empires. Specifics about the 7th/8th Empire’s 10 Horns

Ten horns have been growing out of the remnants of the Ottoman Empire and other Islamic strongholds that derived from it.

The initiation of the Beast’s 8th head will start with a coalition of Islamic States (IS). Right now, members of the Arab League can account for most of the ten horns (kings).

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, under Sunni Islam, qualifies to be the next Caliph. There are no hereditary requirements for Caliph in Sunni Islam, if the people are behind him, and he’s already backed by multitudes of Turks for that role. He’s also been laying the groundwork in Libya, Sudan, and other nations that have been providing refuge to terrorists.

Gog is the title of the chief prince of Magog. Magog was the dominant son of Japheth.

Japheth was the son of Noah about whom it was prophesied that his sons will expand across the whole earth, setting up his tents among other nations (by conquering) especially through his son Magog.

(‘Ham’ became the Canaanite and Africans, ‘Shem became the Semites and East Asians and Japheth the Caucasians! Look it has happened. No other group spread and conquered like the British Empire!)

The example of Gog in the far future:

When the thousand yeas are complete, satan will be released from his prison, and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth – Gog and Magog – to assemble them for battle. Their number is like the sand of the seashore. (Rev. 20: 7-8)

I put the verse above to point out that: Magog will still be the most widely spread people group, even at the end of Jesus Christ’s Millennial Kingdom, as evidenced by the fact that they’re called ‘the four corners of the earth’. And the chief of their leaders will again be called ‘Gog’.

So, just as we refer to all of the ten northern tribes of Israel as Ephraim, because it’s the dominant tribe, we might sometimes even refer to all of Japheth as ‘Magog’.

The Little Big Horn/Gog is not like the others!

The early part of the Islamic beast, as described in its Daniel 7 description, will be somewhat hijacked or compromised (depending on how you look at it) by the little-big horn. It must happen during the time of the solidification of its revival as an Islamic State, an entity who defines itself by its passion to revive its Caliph and Caliphate, which only happens when it conquers Jerusalem. Yes, it seems that they’ll go through some empowering compromises as they accept Gog of Magog as their Mahdi. (Mahdi explained below.)

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, president of Turkey, a despot who imprisons his opponents to get himself ‘reelected,’ has been rallying to huge Islamic multitudes for the revival of the Caliphate, with Turkey again as its lead nation and himself as Caliph. Erdogan was the first to falsely accuse Israel of genocide, an idea which he spread through NATO and from there to the whole world. It seems that Turkey will have a very crucial role as one of the remaining 7 horns of the 8th head of the Beast.

How do we get to the 8th head?

Again, in St. John’s vision, the 7th empire received a fatal head wound; But then the head of that very same empire gets revived and the world’s amazed!

From the Dan. 7 viewpoint regarding the beast’s two part 7th empire: Both parts of it are described by Daniel as being ‘different than all the others’ (meaning prior empires). First, Daniel saw the last beast ‘crush everything.’ Only after that, Daniel saw it with ten horns and only after that, did he see the little 11th horn emerge, and then grow large uprooting three of the others. ‘Crushing everything’ revealed the nature of the beast before the little horn became its 8th head. But the little horn grows to be the most terrible horn of all history:

He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time. (Dan. 7:25)

That’s ~3.5 yrs.. And Rev. 13:1-8 says its authority over Earth will be for 42 months. Its boasting will reach all the way to the Ancient of Days in the courts of heaven, where the books were opened:

But the court will sit, and his power will be taken away and completely destroyed forever. Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of all the kingdoms under heaven will be handed over to the holy people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey him. (Dan. 7:26-27)

All that helps explain another verse. It’s the Revelation verse where the angel tells St. John that the 7th Empire/King (Islamic Caliphate) will only exist ‘for a little while’, which is often misunderstood.

The angel must’ve only been referring to the ‘revived portion’ of the 7th head of the beast, when he said “it will only exist for a little while”; That’s the 42 month empowerment period that God will allow Him (Rev. 13:5). Again, although referred to as the ‘8th head’, it’s still the 7th Empire, just in it’s ultimate form, especially when the Mahdi takes the helm. This must be the case, because during the first part of the Ottoman Empire, the Jews weren’t even present in Israel as a nation. The focus of God’s Biblical story is from the perspective of the Israelites in relation to the Abrahamic Covenant; That’s God’s unilateral promise to Abraham that his descendants The Sons of Jacob, renamed The Israelites, through whom the Christ would come, would inherit the promised land _{^{(Also the spiritual seed of Christ, which will include all nations, but the biological roots must be maintained.)}} So the 7th Empire will be remembered by its revived head ‘Gog’ (not Sultan Selim _^the 1st).

Each Head/Empire on the beast is remembered by its greatest or its most historically significant King/Emperor/Caliph; And the ‘head’ that will play the most important role in the history of the Islamic State/Caliphate is ‘Gog’. I’m not implying he won’t have an actual name. Again, Gog is the Biblical title of the men who were, are and will be the chief leaders of the greatest rebellions against the true Almighty God. The title was already understood at the time of the Exodus.

God’s final week of years of the current age or dispensation, has already begun; It began about 2.5 yrs ago according to my understanding of prophetic timing. (That’s not the same thing as the great tribulation having begun). Gog the Antichrist must be revealed very soon because he’ll be greatly empowered for the last 3.5 of the final 7 years. The world as a whole will follow him; Few will understand. Saints will be martyred. He’s also the one who’ll be behind the great showdown with Israel in the final war of good vs evil at Armageddon when Jesus Christ returns. Most people think the Ezekiel 38 Gog-Magog war is a separate war, but I bet they’d be much less certain if they knew about the egregious mistranslation the Masorites intentionally inserted into Numbers 24:7. I think the two wars kind of blend together, possibly with a very short pause for a false peace, in order for him to finish setting up the Beast system. Both wars are headed by Gog, see. . .

If only it were simple, and we could just say Gog will be the Caliph or Caliph elect, therefore he’ll most likely be Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The key issue is . . .

The Antichrist must be accepted by the Jews as their Messiah!

It would require a LOT for Erdogan to be accepted! But, there’s the one more huge piece to the puzzle: The Western piece. It was introduced above and once you see the details, it can’t be unseen. Adding this complicated piece, may actually support Recep Erdogan in doing his part, perhaps as the final ‘King of the North’. {Dan 11:(35)-36-45} Erdogan could become the ‘right hand man’ to the little-big horn, the antichrist, as he emerges: _{^{See mark 13.34 below.}}

No way, you might say!

Well, I must point out that, for Muslims, there is someone above a Caliph, someone who the Muslims have been waiting for, someone who’s not like the others, someone who’s not constrained by all the rules the Koran places on Caliphs and Imams. There’s someone who may fit that role, someone who’s now living, someone who’s already been accepted by the religious Jews as their rightful king of Israel and seems to have been secretly been falsely anointed as such. He claims to be descended from King David. Whether truth or lie, it’s been very well established for centuries. He’s a man who already holds sway over 1/4 of the world, and not only has he converted to Islam, he also claims he’s descended from Mohammad!

The little horn (king/ruler who’ll become the Antichrist) will begin to exert force at some point, no longer behaving purely diplomatically, which starts with the uprooting of three of the initial 10 horns, as shown from the Daniel 7 perspective of the final Beast. This obviously, can only happen after the coalition of Islamic kings is firm enough. We’re very close.

The ten horns are ten kings who shall arise from this kingdom. And another shall rise after them; He shall be different from the first ones, and shall subdue three kings. He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, shall persecute the saints of the Most High, and shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand for a time and times and half a time. Dan. 7:24-25

Notice what it says about those ten kings:

“the ten horns are ten kings who shall arise from this kingdom”.

I think the Mahdi will be the Antichrist, the False Jewish Messiah and the 11th horn – the one who’s ”different’ from the others.’ I think he’s the tribulation Gog, the one who was written about by Ezekiel 38, who YHWH will ‘draw out with hooks in his jaw.’

‘Gog’ is a title for whoever is the chief leader of Magog, at any time in history:

There was a Gog before the Nation of Israel was established. (Numbers 24:7). There’s a Gog in the final 7 years of this age, and there’s a final Gog, who’ll lead a brief rebellion at the end of the Millennial Kingdom of Jesus Christ when God unbinds satan for the last time. Take another look:

Most intriguing verse:

The beast who once was, and now is not, is an eighth king. He belongs to the seven and is going to his destruction. (Rev. 17:11)

He once was and now is not? The only time that there’s been no permutation of ‘the beast’ active on earth was the period when democracy took hold, starting with the beheading of the Ottoman Empire in 1924. It was de-caliphated and decapitated! It’s a hundred years later now and we’re living in the end of that period. St. John’s visions contained a lot of time travel. The way I understand it is God must’ve taken St John’s vision to the place, time and vantage point of the democratic era that we’re in now! (See below for more details about everything.)

God’s Old Testament prophets normally made major leaps in time in their prophetic narratives, even as far as writing from the beginning to the end in one passage, even one verse! (The protoevangelium for example.) St. John’s New Testament prophesies in chapter 17 are no different. For example, the verses just before Rev. 17:11, refer to an entirely different vantage point, which was the time and place where St. John’s physical body was located, on the Island of Patmos, around 95 AD:::

This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits. They are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for only a little while. (Rev. 17: 9-10)

The 6th Empire/Head of the Beast, Rome, was the one reigning during Paul’s actual lifetime.

But, some Western scholars who are unfortunately ‘stuck in the past’ with their overly Rome-centrist viewpoints acquired by only relying on European commentaries from the middle ages, and later scholars who’ve studied only those, still teach that in Rev. 17:10, all the heads on the Beast are referring to Kings of Rome. Those Kings were: Augustus, Tiberius, Nero, Caligula, Claudius, the year of four emperors, Vespasian, Titus then Domitian. If we count all of them, Domitian would’ve been the 12th king of Rome, certainly not 6th king of Rome! And what about the 7 Roman Emperors that came after Domitian? The verse clearly shows ‘one’ more!

Clearing up two things before they get confusing:

First – In the Bible, ‘king’ and ‘kingdom’ are referred to interchangeably:

For example, in the Book of Daniel, the terms ‘Babylon’ (the Empire) and ‘King Nebuchadnezzar’ are used synonymously, even from one verse to the next. If it sounds strange, notice that we do the same thing with Trump, all the time, and he’s not even a king! You can’t have a king without a kingdom and visa versa, they’re inseparable. Historically we recall empires by their most prominent emperor, such as with Nebuchadnezzar.

The emperor of the revived 7th empire/head of the beast, the 8th emperor/head, will define the entire Beast in the last days so completely that many artists draw it with only one head. And as mentioned above, toward the very end of it’s reign, he’ll receive the backing of ten ‘kings’ who haven’t inherited their power yet. It’s God Almighty making that happen in order to use that alliance to destroy Babylon the Great!

About Babylon the Great sitting on the Beast, here’s the other verse that requires wisdom:

This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits. They’re also seven kings. (Rev. 17:9-10)

Hills or mountains represent Kingdoms in the Bible: 7 heads = 7 hills or mountains = 7 Kingdoms = 7 Kings.

Finally – Yes, that’s a picture of King Charles III on top!

That’s because, in many ways, he’s the strongest candidate for the Antichrist. Not only has he converted to Islam, but the New Jewish Sanhedrin respects his claims as the rightful king of Israel and appears to have unofficially given him the nod, despite the fact that his supposed linage is from King Solomon, which would make him illegitimate, according to God Almighty, since Solomon turned to idol worship. . . . could be the most important of the original 10 horns. Here’s one way to make sense of it: Even with Recep Tayyip Erdogan being the Caliph wannabe of the now forming ‘Islamic State,’ and even if he becomes Caliph, there’s someone above him:

Muslims believe that there’s someone called the ‘Mahdi’ coming at the end of this age, who is different than and above a Caliph, differing in quality not just rank. Muslims envision him as a rider on a white horse. (Satan copies everything God does.)

Notice how his face is covered with light. That idea comes from Christian art in which God’s face is respected. Although he’s sometimes called the 12th and final Imam, they see him as greater than any Caliph or Imam. Since Jesus Christ is the true God-man, and their purpose is to replace Him, they sometimes portray the Mahdi like a God-man.

Leadership roles of Imam’s and Caliphs overlap, but Imams are more on the religious side and Caliphs more on the military side. The Mahdi doesn’t have to conform to that.

King of the North?

Daniel 11:38 “Instead of them, he will honor a god of fortresses (or forces, representing physical strength); a god unknown to his ancestors he will honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and costly gifts.”

In the last 42 months of God’s final appointed week, the Beast will be given free reign . . . That’s in the final week-of-years of this age called ‘the 70th week’ of Daniel; It contains the ‘great tribulation’ followed by the ‘greatEST tribulation’ of all time. In the second half of it, the accumulated Wrath of God called the Time of Jacob’s Trouble/Day of the Lord is released onto the earth.

But, sometime during the first part of this final week-of-years, God’s temple will be built up again. Unfortunately that will also make way for the ultimate ‘abomination of desolation’ to be set up on a wing of it. My understanding is that the A.O.D. will be set up but not nearly completed until almost 3.5 yrs later, at the end of God’s final week. The reason it’ll take so long is that it’s a developing entity that won’t come into it’s full power until the Starlink satellite network that supports it fully encompasses Earth.

And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

The initial appearance of the abomination of desolation is the final signal to the Jews to flee from Jerusalem, and to start looking up. Those are the last days for them, when their redemption draws near.

It’s scarlet. People have made many comments about it, but I’ve not heard anyone say he was trying to compete with Jesus Christ’s blood stained imagery. In the Book of Revelation, the dragon is red, but the Beast he possesses turns scarlet when Babylon the Great rides him. Rev. 17: 4, 6 “And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. … I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. Amazingly, Charles’s not alone in His self portrait! There’s a clear image of an unclothed horse/man-like entity standing on Charles’ right side, pressing against him. There’s a peg there that’s not Charles’ leg. It has horse-like ears and it’s male, although the face appears female because the monarch butterfly is his lips. His left arm is reaching behind Charles’ neck and its right upper arm is bent behind its own back. He’s reminiscence of the unicorn on Charles’ Black Prince coat of arms, which has the cloven hoofs of a goat and is called the ‘sinister supporter’; But this companion is on Charles’ right side. It could be a satyr, known as a companion of Pan. Look closely to see how its pole is well camouflaged by Charles’ coat.

In the video below, is a book review of a well known novel about ‘Pan’ by a classic Welsh author. The reviewer explains that a satyr is, like Pan, another haunt of the woodlands. He always has an erection and acts insanely gleeful. The satyr is the historical companion of Pan in myth. Charles is also holding a red ribbon that’s quite suggestive. The book is a horror story that describes the descent of everyone who comes in contact with Pan into primordial ooze, where there’s a slow and complete removal of all spiritual light.
