Jesus warned us – at the very top of His Olivet Discourse – to beware of false prophets coming in His name. Jesus’ Hebrew name is transliterated: ‘Yashuah, Yashua or Yeshua’ which was translated as Joshua for every individual in the Bible with that name, except for Jesus.
Background
Joshua Mhlakela has become famous and influential because he had a dream in 2017 or 2018, which seemed to many to have predicted the correct rapture date interval: Feast of Trumpets (F.O.T.) 2025. He publicized it very heavily and repeatedly said that he was 100% certain. He didn’t only give the date, but he told exactly how many days it would be from the day of the interviews I saw, making it impossible that he was using a different calendar. He was called a prophet by many people way before the date arrived.
F.O.T. is a 2-3 day interval that most watchers, including myself, have thought at times was the highest watch period in various years.
Sept. 22-24 2025 was a high watch interval for the majority of watchers who look at every likely day in chronological order as they approach.
I mean that, every year since we came close to the end of the Fig Tree Generation, watchers have predicted, this particular yearly appointed time, appointed by God, as being a highly likely time for Jesus to gather His bride.
There’s much controversy:
God may have used Joshua Mhlakela to popularize the nearly correct year and date (interval) in which Jesus Christ will come to gather His bride, in order to wake up many sleeping Christians.
But, we must keep in mind that God ‘also’ made use of the bad prophet Balaam: God forced Balaam to glorify the Israelites and their Messiah 7 times, although Balaam wanted to curse them for money. God also made Balaam into a lesson, teaching future generations that they must use discernment and caution regarding prophets. The Book of Numbers records that after Balaam finished speaking for God, he went to Balak to inform Balak how to corrupt the Israelites. “If you can’t curse them, corrupt them.” (Make sure to read to the end for the warning.)

We must learn God’s lessons and use discernment regarding this Joshua Mhlakela phenomenon. It could be both a blessing and a test from God.
Should believers follow what he says outside of his Sept. 23 ’25 prediction?
I’m glad the high watch interval was popularized and woke up many sleepers; But, because of the Christian world’s frenzy over Joshua Mhlakela, I finally had to carefully listen to a few of his many interviews with a discerning ear.
Brother Joshua Full Testimony On Medic4Christ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gs6_oAlonmY
First his background: God apparently saved J.M. from a traumatic childhood and stopped him from taking his life. In 2000AD, he found a church in which he gave his life to Jesus Christ. He said that in the beginning of his walk with Christ he was so zealous that he could feel Jesus walking next to him. When He was a newbie Christian, he had his first vision in the daytime, an angel as tall as a building, a spiritual warrior carrying a sword, walking around protecting his church prayer group, as they went door to door. In 2003AD he became assistant pastor and had a very, very terrifying dream/vision: He saw himself in the future standing on a scourged Earth after a rapture. Only later did he understand the interpretation, that he was standing in the great tribulation. In 2010 he quit being a pastor. He told God “Now I want to focus on my life. I don’t want to be a pastor anymore.” In 2011 he had the courtroom vision, outlined below. He said some things that seem to blatantly contradict scripture:
Now for the courtroom vision:
First J.M. was in line outside a courtroom with others. The others had died, but he hadn’t died. Then he went in thee courtroom, and sat down facing the judge.
Scripture says that heaven and Earth will flee away at the G.W.T..
He described God (the Father) as translucent and huge sitting in the seat of the judge.
Furthermore, the Father judges no one, but has assigned all judgment to the Son, so that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.… John 5: 22-23
On his left of where Joshua M. was sitting, He saw Jesus facing the judge; He was wearing a white robe and had a normal human body.
Scripture says every knee will bow before Jesus Christ at the G.W.T..
Joshua Mhlakela described a mere courtroom scene (not the Bema seat) with Jesus on his left like a mere defense attorney.
It’s Jesus Christ who sits on the G.W.T..
No one ‘covered with His blood’ will be judged at His’ G.W.T., only at His Bema seat, which is only for rewards. Satan isn’t there.
Scripture says Jesus Christ is our high priest forever. Jesus Christ intercedes, by sprinkling us with His holy blood.
On his right was Satan carrying a huge file with J.M.’s sins. Satan made a move to accuse.
But, Satan is already in the lake of fire by the time of the G.W.T. judgment:
And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, into which the beast and the false prophet had already been thrown. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Then I saw a great white throne and the One seated on it. Earth and heaven fled from His presence, and no place was found for them.…Rev. 20: 10-11
Jesus took one step forward and J.M. was immediately acquitted.
Believers only appear before the Bema sat of Christ where no one needs to be acquitted.
J.M. was immediately transported upward to heaven were people were sitting around. There were school kids, sunshine that didn’t scorch. Some wore jail clothes.
Scripture describes a dramatic gatherings/harvests of saints . . .
. . . not saints trickling into heaven one by one.
Scripture says the saints will be wearing pristine white linen robes; Some will receive crowns.
Finally, in the interview . . .
. . . Immediately after that, Joshua Mhlakela said he saw Jesus standing in front of him and described Jesus Christ as ‘the very definition of beautiful.’
I’m sure Jesus Christ is exceedingly beautiful, after all He’s the creator of all beauty. But, His beautiful appearance isn’t what makes Jesus Christ the name above all names: Even Satan was once called the perfection of beauty. (Ezekiel 28:17)
Compare that to the Songs of Praise to Jesus: The angels and four living creatures surrounding God’s throne call Jesus Christ holy, holy, holy. In Rev. 4, the 24 elders sing out that the Lamb of God is worthy, they bow down and toss their crowns toward Him who sits on God Almighty’s throne, to the right hand of God the Father. Jesus Himself said He wanted his apostles to see His ‘glory’, which includes everything, the whole truth – His worthiness as the Lamb of God, His position in God’s Heaven as Son of the Most High, His position as Chief on the Mount of the Assembly of the elohim, with myriads and myriads of angels bowing down to Him. Christ is the designer of the awesome New Jerusalem. What about His awesome countenance? No inkling of his deepest and most perfect love showing on His face was mentioned? No thankfulness was given to him. Those are just a few examples.
I don’t remember a song in the Bible that ever even specifically mentions Jesus’ ‘beauty’. But, we do know from scripture that He’s the radiance of God the Father’s Glory. I’d like to put every song of praise, honor and thanks here, and all the words they use like: power, honor, wisdom, salvation, thankfulness, but there’s no time.
Aesthetics without meaning or goodness? That sounds more like Satan’s realm. I’ve seen quite a few memorable videos by people who’d had near death experiences, that began with an encounter with an entity of amazing visual or auditory beauty, that turned out to be Satan. All of those experiences had bad endings.
Joshua Mhlakela is giving warnings about 3I/ATLAS telling us that, he himself knows what’s inside the ship, because of another dream or vision. I don’t even want to repeat what he said, lest you be misled and turn away from our true bridegroom, our Lord Jesus Christ, just in case the 3I/ATLAS is Him coming in a vessel, like an ark. or even a chariot to gather His bride.
