As mentioned above, in my opinion ‘the midst’ is not an exact geometric type of ‘middleness.’ The Hebrews didn’t think that way; That’d be reading more into the text than what’s there. It even causes some watchers to set aside certain prophetic truths, that are manifesting in the world.

The Prince, The Covenant, the many

In Dan. 9:27, there’s a prince mentioned who’s involved in enforcing ‘it’ (the Koine Greek word translates as ‘will’ or ‘testament’) with many. Then somehow it gets disrupted after the sacrifices and libations will have been established for many weeks. All the verses in between those, are all about building the temple and re-starting sacrifices and libations.

Everything works out perfectly, on the completed timeline as long as the Two Witnesses are ‘granted from God’ after His Midnight Cry event, and about 5 months and 12 days before the UN Pact for the Future is ratified. See:

Also, Dan. 9:27 doesn’t say anything specific in the Old Greek about ‘seven years’ applying specifically to the actions of the prince who is to come, but the fact that the passage is about what takes place after ‘the gap’ until God’s plan consummates, limits it to no more than 7 years.

Possible Cosmic Shift

Just something to keep in the back of our minds: Since the final Jubilee year overlaps with the final Sabbatical year of God Almighty’s covenant time line, there’ll be six additional, somewhat mysterious, months at the end of the final week of years, for God to use for His purposes; There’s even a possibility that God Almighty will causes a cosmic shift, as He did with Noah’s flood, resetting the seasons by 6 months.

Again, there’s no verse in the Old Greek version of Dan. 9:27 saying that an action by the prince marks the day, week or month or even year, that Daniels 70^th week begins! We just know that the sacrifices and libations in the 3rd temple will continue for ‘many weeks’ before he stops them, and it says that won’t happen until the Old Covenant’s fulfillment is complete in God Almighty’s eyes. And, only then the abomination of desolation will begin to be set up.

My best prediction has been that the 3^rd Temple will be dedicated on Hanukah (the Feast of Dedication) 2025, and that all the agreements that have been happening with the world’s nations are leading up to it. If last year was a leap year in God’s eyes, due to immaturity of the barley harvest which is the bride of Christ, there will still be time to get it built because there will be an extra month!
